First of all, a huuuuuuge thank you to all the congrats and random junk I received from like... 8D a ton of people on Neo after Emsohl's petpage won the Site Spotlight award. I didn't even submit it that long ago. At any rate, now I am very motivated to get everyone else's petpages done, pronto... and I'll be able to have time to achieve such a task because I'M DONE!!!! I just had my last final this afternoon. Botany. Ugh, horrendously picky. D: It asked stuff I didn't even bother writing down in my notes because I thought it was so trivial. Oh well, I need like... 38/50 on this exam to get an A in the class, soooo yeah. Not too worried.

On top of that, in my Drawing II class we were working on animations for the past... eh, I dunno, four-five weeks? They were stop-go animations, all done in charcoal and on one sheet of paper. That's a lot of charcoal, and a LOT of erasing. e-e;
Anyway, all went fairly well, it's edited and now up on YouTube!

Also, I'd like to share this story because it was one of my incredibly rare epiphanies and I must share it with you all.
When we were wrapping up our animation, we were trying to decide how we were going to get all of the sound effects+music together via Garage Band... it probably would have taken... several long, grueling hours timing everything to the video and that just didn't look too good.
So I was standing, staring at the picture, and it suddenly dawned on me.
"BEN!" I yelled at my group mates, "WE SHOULD USE MICHAEL JACKSON'S 'BEN'!"

Not surprisingly, no one in my class had heard of that song (or the movie~'tis about a rat named Ben) so I YouTubed it. And the entire class watched it. And then we played the animation along with the music. And it fit ...almost just like that *points up to Animation* It was absolutely PERFECT, especially because the lyrics started right when Charlie (the bear~yep, same Charlie from my comics) woke up. x) Bahhh it was so great. And apparently it was a really popular animation in the other Drawing II class, but there was another group that I thought was the best. XDD About a rock that got struck by lightning, turned into a little creature and had... mishaps with a carnivorous plant. But a squirrel saved the day, naturally. *nods*
