-It Wasn't Me-

The first of a four-picture series I did for my Drawing II final in the Spring semester of the 2008-2009 school year. The second and fourth are really crappy and I don't want to upload them. But if you haven't seen it yet, here's the third image: [link]

C&'ing from my last entry...
The project was to use four 48x27 or something pieces of paper and make a correlated piece. The directions were really broad, so the correlation could be something as ridiculous as "They're all the same size", or it's all the same subject/medium/scale... etc.

My specific project was one scene (one moment in time in a fictional place with fictional characters), from four different points of view.

The first point of view is from someone in the crowd looking at this rat. The second point of view is from this rat looking up at the crowd. The third--well, just look at it. And the fourth is from the point of view of the woman in the third image, so the fourth image is of what was looking at her in the previous image: it just so happens to be a giant, 10-foot-tall rat.

Surrounding the rat is a mob of angry villagers... Almost all of their grains were eaten/stolen and something knocked over a lamp in a barn, which pretty much ended up setting the entire village on fire. They all thought this rat was responsible. They were quite wrong.


Done on Stonehenge with a rainbow of graphite pencils and powder graphite.
